ACDIS update: Share your expertise with the Resource Library Committee!

CDI Strategies - Volume 19, Issue 38

The ACDIS Resource Library Committee is looking for new and helpful sample resources to review for publication on the ACDIS website!

By this we mean the committee is looking for resources that you or your organization has created for your department. Resources submitted to the committee will be reviewed for compliance and utility and then published (with appropriate attribution to the contributor) in the ACDIS Resource Library to help other members develop their programs.

Specifically, we are looking to update these materials to reflect the state of the industry in 2025. As such, we are looking for the following clinical materials related to:

  • Congestive heart failure
  • Obstetrics
  • Pediatrics
  • Obesity
  • Malnutrition
  • Encephalopathy
  • Blood loss anemia
  • Acute kidney injury

Additionally, we are looking for policies with respect to:

  • Telecommunication
  • Query escalation
  • Reconciliation
  • Orientation
  • Evaluation and auditing
  • Compliant query
  • Creating/maintaining standard query templates
  • Second-level reviews

Lastly, we are looking for resources related to:

  • How to implement a CDI program
  • How to do a CDI review
  • Job descriptions (e.g., directors, managers, second-level review, educator, etc.)
  • Appeal letters for high-risk diagnoses
  • Examples of mission states
  • Facilitywide clinical definitions

If you have any resources on any of the above mentioned topics, please email them to ACDIS Associate Editor Joshua Raposa at Joshua.raposa@hcpro.com or the whole ACDIS team at acdis@info.org.

Note: We do ask, however, that you deidentify any personal information (phone numbers, emails, etc.) before sending.
