ACDIS update: Apply to speak at RIS 2026, AHIMA26 by January 26!
The deadline to apply to speak at two great industry events in fall 2026 is right around the corner on January 26! If furthering your professional development made your list of 2026 New Year’s resolutions, this is the perfect opportunity to make headway!
First, consider applying to speak at the 2026 Revenue Integrity Symposium (RIS), to be held September 24–25, 2026, in Savannah, Georgia. ACDIS’ sister association, the National Association of Healthcare Revenue Integrity (NAHRI), is now accepting proposals to speak at RIS 2026. The deadline to apply has been extended to January 26, 2026.
We’re seeking proposals on a variety of revenue integrity and revenue cycle topics, from analysis of regulations to case studies. Whether you’re breaking down payer rules and regulations into clear, actionable steps or sharing lessons and successful projects from your facility, we want to hear from you.
The NAHRI Networking and Events Committee will begin reviewing applications in January 2026.

Secondly, speaker applications for AHIMA26, happening October 4–6, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, are open until January 26, 2026. Submit your abstract for consideration—your presentation could be part of next year’s lineup!
This year, AHIMA26 will feature six distinct tracks, including:

- Privacy and security
- Coding
- Career advancement
- Documentation and data integrity
- Operational outcomes
Submitted proposals will undergo an extensive peer review and will be based on criteria pertaining to education level, clarity of writing, innovation, relevance, and goal.
