ACDIS update: Diversity and Inclusion Committee publishes article on subtle acts of exclusion

CDI Strategies - Volume 18, Issue 17

In a community so diverse as the CDI profession, are some people still excluded? In this new ACDIS member resource, written as a collaborative effort of members of the 2024 ACDIS Diversity and Inclusion Committee, they tackle the important topic of defining and recognizing subtle acts of exclusion (SAE). The new resource also includes examples of when you may encounter SAE or be perpetrating it yourself.

This guidance can be an excellent resource to refer to when creating or updating your CDI program’s policies and procedures, as well as for work culture training. ACDIS members can click here to read the insight!
