Local chapter update: Tell us your conference plans!

Calling all local chapter leaders!

Are you coming to the ACDIS conference in Chicago, April 20–23? The second full day of the conference (April 22) is State Networking Day! Attendees are encouraged to dress in attire to represent their home state. This makes it easier for attendees to meet their neighbors and find the table dedicated to their state or region’s local chapter!

During lunch on this day, local chapter leaders are also encouraged to pick a table to decorate with a theme of their choice to help foster networking within their geographic region. (For example, one year the Florida chapter leaders brought an inflatable palm tree, the Kentucky leaders brought Derby-themed décor, and the Maine chapter leaders wore lobster hats.)

In the coming weeks, the local chapter update in CDI Strategies will highlight local chapters’ conference plans including: 

• Leaders’ names (or a person designated as the conference chapter point person if no leaders are attending) 
• State theme dress recommendations 
• Plans for lunch State Pride Day 
• Any after-hours events the chapter has planned

• The Minnesota ACDIS chapter meets Wednesday, March 25, 1–2 p.m., via webinar.
