Local chapter update: Networking and fun at the 2026 conference

CDI Strategies - Volume 20, Issue 19

Just like that, another ACDIS conference filled with unparalleled education, networking, and connection is behind us! This year during our State Networking Day, which always takes place on Day 2, there were an array of tables during lunch for CDI professionals to connect with people in their geographic region and topic group. There were so many fun displays and creative ways to engage with each other!

From Illinois with their Wheel of Fortune game, to Kentucky with their hand-made paper Derby props, Georgia with their balloon peaches, New England and California with their state sports gear, and more—we watched in awe as all that state spirit and enthusiasm fostered reconnection and new friendships.

If you weren’t there, or were and want to relive the magic, here are some moments we captured at the lunch tables (If you have pictures you’d like to share, please send them to ACDIS Editor Jess Fluegel at jess.fluegel@hcpro.com).
