ACDIS update: Relive the glory days with ACDIS Encore, August 22-24
As the summer draws to a close, striped beach chairs go back into the attic, meats of the grilled persuasion become less and less frequent, nature’s temperament becomes a bit moodier, and we are left feeling a bit nostalgic for what was at the very beginning of the summer: namely, the ACDIS conference.
So, we are giving you the opportunity to drudge out that swimsuit, take those dogs out of the fridge, refill that tiny swimming pool, and relive the conference glory days with ACDIS Encore: Clinical & Coding Online.
The event will take place from Tuesday, August 22 through Thursday, August 24, and will give you access to the entire Clinical & Coding track from the 2023 ACDIS national conference.
This staple of the annual conference features core clinical and coding components vital to all those working in medical record reviews. Check out these must-attend sessions, with title such as:
- Full Alert! A Guide to Improving Trauma Service Documentation
- What’s in a Drop? Interpreting CBC Results
- To Query or Not to Query: A Decision-Tree Approach to Sepsis
- Principal Diagnosis Dilemma
- Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Procedures
- And much more!
We’re also including two keynote sessions from the 2023 ACDIS conference: “The Choice to Flourish,” presented by Laurie L. Prescott, RN, MSN, CCDS, CCDS-O, CDIP, CRC, ACDIS interim director, and “The Importance of Being… You: Lessons in Authenticity,” presented by former ACDIS Director Brian Murphy.
Plus, those who attend will be eligible for 10 CEUs you can use toward ACDIS, AHIMA, ANCC, CCMC, and NAHRI certifications. Registrants will have access to all the recordings until September 30, 2023, so you can return to the sessions to your heart’s content.
